Yes, they have a pre setting on the air guns.
Go buy yourself a decent torque wrench, it´s will be worth every penny if you plan to get you fingers dirty at some point

i'd avoid any place they air guns your wheels back onto the car....! Lots of tyre places now hand torque the wheel bolts which i prefer, usually means you have a fighting chance of getting them off again!

Don't worry about asking those questions....all got to start somewhere but yep, a haynes manual or something would be a good to flick through

While we are stating the obvious, never tighten the lockers as much as the normal nuts/bolts!
Far too many garage grease monkeys have a habit of doing it being trigger happy with an airgun, i watch them like a hawk now

See it wasnt that much of a silly question, unless you want me drive to brighton and see one of my wheels going in front of me and into a ditch.

Bit off topic but i bought some draper axle stands off e-bay, they are supposed to be new but after unpacking them found that the feet were all scratched up as if they were used once and repacked.
Should i not take risks with these and just return them?
Its only cosmetic theres no other damage checked all the weld.

well sound like they have been used, so if you paid for new then I would query...other than that they should work and function fine
