  • Wheel fitting guide pins

No idea what they're actually called, but I've seen some guide pins that thread into wheel bolts holes and help you line the wheels up when fitting. My spacers make it bloody difficult!

    Any ideas on the following?

    a - what they're actually called
    b - where I can get some
c - what size the thread is

    Search for stud conversion

M14x1.5 Length of studs is going to be dependant on your spacer size.

For buying them fireturk on ebay is your man

I presume you are talking about the plastic rod that you use as a guide when fitting the wheels rather than converting from bolts to studs. It has a silly name that starts with a B IIRC. Seen one in the scrappers the other day. My wifes a3 has one too so presumably you can grab them from most VAG cars

          Hibby/Big Lee M - that's what I meant. There's no way I'm paying £16.10 delivery for one though!

Now I've got a better idea, I'll start searching.

          Thanks.

Try eBay.I'm sure I've seen them on there before. Like someone has said I bet you can get them at most VAG dealers, the metals ones are better.
