  • Lightweight wheels on a budget...

We all love the BBS & OZ lightweight wheels, not to mention some of the more exotic Japanese efforts but there does seem to be more and more lightweight wheels being made that are more affordable. I've been having a look at these recently and thought I'd share them - some are rather tasty!

Something in the 8kg region for these in 17x7.5.

    Fox MS006 and MS007 wheels (I rather like 007) -

Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 -

Again, about 8kg for these in 17x8.

      Yeah, they ming.

I keep coming back to these... not too light compared to the lightest rims but they're sweet -

      These are about 10kg

There's also Rota rims, which aren't too expensive but are heading towards the BBS & OZ cost.

those speedline ones are much nicer, would suit the car more too!

have a soft spot for deep engraved writing in wheels like that!

bit more weight to the wheels just means you'll have to keep off the beers for a while and chuck a few more unneeded parts lingering in the back into the shed.

they would look good on a white car for sure, bit of a mix of a few different wheels.

              defiantly something new

id be a tad careful with the alloy type. By that I don't mean make I mean alloy type.

I have had team dynamics in the past. they crack as they are rigid alloy rather than bend. good track wheels not so good on the roads we have to use.

Those Fox alloys are less than £100 each in 17x8! That's some serious value... wait and see what weight they are. Have to wonder at the quality for that price though.

Those f.x ones are nice, any idea on cost? I've been tempted by the team dynamics ones for track use.
