  • C4 UrS Tire pressure (and factory suggested wheel/tire combo sizes) sticker trivia.

This came about because I was suggesting that the OE factory suggestion for the tire sizes for the 17 inch Boleros was 245/40/17. Somebody suggested that the size was 255 something. As a result, I started looking at the stickers on the C4 UrS gas flaps because I knew that is where the factory shows the suggested tire sizes, e.g. 215/60/15 and 225/50/16, is located.

The original "normal" sticker for C4 UrS was 4A0010124R, at least in NAmerica. This is the sticker on both my 93 UrS4 sedan and Jan 94 build 94 UrS4 V8 avant. Curious that the avant (which was delivered to Japan) would have a mostly English language sticker. I presume the assumption was more folks in Japan can read/speak English that German. The 124R sticker was dropped at the end of Feb. 28, 1994 in favour of a 4A0010131M sticker. This sticker shows up as a Euro sticker that covers both the AAN and AEC (and presumably the ABH) V8. Might be the later NAmerican UrS4/S6 sticker as well. (Photo of the 131M anybody?)

I am told that the S6plus sticker for bigger (255) 17" tires than the 124R (and 131M?) is PN 4A0010141M which is unique to the S6Plus. I am hoping somebody with an S6Plus can post up a photo of this 141M gas flap sticker.

Bottomline: I am looking for photos of the 4A0010131M gas flap sticker from a C4 UrS4 or UrS6 and the 4A0010141M sticker from an S6Plus. Anybody?

Here you go, 4A0010141M sticker from an S6Plus. Found this on my donor car which was FWD 2.5 TDI.
I was watching this sticker after I fitted my car 225/45/17 and was wondering what pressure should I use. 3,0 bar did not sound very well, I sticked with 2,5 bar and as I can see from your sticker it should be fine though the tire measures are not exactly the same.
