      http://www.etyres.co.uk/tyre-size-calculator

I would use this to compare the total height of the wheel+tyre with what you have now, so you know approx. where it will sit in the arch and if you are clear of any suspension components.

      http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Wheel-Offset-Calculator

      And this to compare ET.

Well, from that your car will sit 23mm higher and the gap between the arch and the wheel will be 23mm less. So ig you want to lower your car by 30mm that means that the gap between arch and the wheel will be 52mm less than it is now. What I found out when looking at my s4 is the gap between the strut and the wheel is quite small, so check that.

So from that. Arch gap will be 22.9mm smaller (52.9 when you lower it). Clearance between the wheel and strut housing will be 16mm less (wheel will sit closer to strut) and wheel will sit 3.7mm deeper in the arch.

If the wheel will be 16mm closer to strut housing, check if gap between wheel and strut (height wise) is 22.9mm etc. See what happens when you do a full lock to either side, check all the gaps.

So get the ruler out and get measuring.

I don't think anyone on here runs 245 tyres. Only thing you can do is get someone who runs the same setup as you, and ask nicely to do some measurements.

But I doubt you can fit 224/45, because I was looking to fit 225/50/18 and strut would be in the way height wise, so I have to get 225/45 instead.

Have a play with that calculator, you might be able to fit narrower tyres or lower profile tyres.

Even if you can get the height right, most worry will be the gap between strut housing and the wheel.

And if the gap is too small, you can always use some wheel spacers to sort it out.

You have build thread of your urs4 by any chance?
