Tyre recommendations 205/60/15s

Will be fitting 4 new tyres to my new alloys soon, am stuck between:
Toyo CF2
Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance
Continental Premium Contact 5

Any recommendations or others I should consider?

There appears to be almost nothing sporty in that size. The tyres you have mentioned above are all the sort of thing you'd use to go to Tesco in a Focus but are going to fall very short if you're pressing on.

205/55R15 has a more sporty options - Linky

It's a B3 coupe Quattro 20v. The 60 profile is the original size, was considering swapping to 55's as I want T1Rs really, thought they might look a bit lost under the arches?

I thought the B3 coupe Quattro 20v on the fake split rims ran on a 50 profile.

The saloon runs 205/50, the Coupe was 205/60.

I've gone for Uniroyal Rainsport on mine

My 90 20v saloon was 50 profile factory so surprised the coupe was 60 profile. You live and learn.

I'd avoid the Uniroyal RS3s, as the sidewalls are far too soft. I have them on my Clio and on the Wife's and they lose a fair bit of precision as a result. Not sure if the XL version would be better or not but I'd avoid them on a car you'd want to feel sharp.

I put a set of BFgoodrich g- grip 205/60WR16's on ours... They were not bargain basement, by any shot....


I can't wait to run over a stinger.... It'll give me the excuse to replace them all...

the old Toyo T1R's were soooo much better....Why didn't I replace like for like.....
