Hi. Could do with some help please. Anyone in the Cheshire area put in contact with a good gearbox specialist. My B3 20V coupe has developed an issue where it wont stay in third gear. Goes in ok but as soon as you put your foot on the loud pedal pops out of gear and chatters around, hoping to be something easy but fearing the worst to be fair. Doesn't seem to be anyone out there with a good condition B320V coupe gear box for sale either. Anyone with help please. Thanks
What "EU" 90 q has a different final drive? All 90q(i5) engine has 4.11 final drive. Only Coupe q what has a different final drive is 2.8 q.

My bad. It was the other ratios that were different not the final drive (unless it was a b4 which this car isn't)
My 20v. Coupe quattro has ASZ gearbox and AEC rear Diff. The 10v coupe quattro also has ASZ gearbox which is a better match than the 90 box. A 90 box will go on but you will need a different speedometer otherwise your speed will read incorrectly as the 90 has smaller diameter tyres than the coupe.
