  • 7a valves.

Quick question for someone in the know. Are 7a 20v exhaust valves the same as 6a, 9a, kr 16v of the same era? Thanks.

Yes as far as I'm aware they are all the same.

I thought the 7A exhaust valves were the first ones to be sodium filled?

Perhaps the better to run 10.3 to 1.

Don't think 7A ex-valves are sodium filled. Use forum search.

Here is the factory manual answer to sodium filled or not... There is a disposal procedure because of the potential for fire

it makes you wonder how important it actually is then if some do and some don't and supplies from the factory appear to fit across engine numbers and may or may not actually contain sodium. Its not very scientific is it?
