    Hiya! Another Newbie.

    Hey peeps,

Really a biker at heart but always had a soft spot for Audi's. Current stable is a RHD 1986 WR10V Quattro, which I've owned since 1993; although it's been garaged since Feb2004 because of an engine problem. However I've recently brought an (ABY) S2 20valve engine to stick in it, so that's a project for later in the year and I'll more than likely be calling upon the local experts here for help.

The other is a LHD 1995 RS2 Avant in RS Blue with blue alcantara/carbon interior and a few other bits, which I've owned for the last 7 years. Being a slacker that's also been in storage since Nov 2005 Hehe

I really need to sort stuff out, but other projects just keep stopping me.

Still look forward to checking out this forum and others peeps cars on here.

Why not stick with the characterful 10v and fit a standalone ecu and with the right choice of exhaust manifold and turbo tune it to whatever you want.

The only failing on the 10v is the Kjetronic fuelling, with that system removed and the ability to use whatever fuel injector and custom mapping you wish, it makes the 10v comparable to the 20v for good horsepower gains.

      Hey Corey,

Thanks for the info, but my 10v already has a full scorpion system fitted, hybrid turbo, uprated fueling meter etc.

I just perfer to stick a 20V in now and lose the 10v. Plus it's an excuse to redo the whole car as the engine bay is pretty messy.

By removing the whole Kjetronics fuelling it tidies the whole engine bay, no biggie if you want go 20v I am just showing another option.

This image isn't to clear but it shows an earlier version of the standalone but you get the idea

My new system (034 stage IIc) has coil per cylinder and a tubular exhaust manifold and GT3071R turbo, oh and the uprated metering head of your original K jetronic system doesn't even come close to the performance of the new system BTDT and seen the light

Looks sweet mate (lovin' them MO's). All ideas are welcome, anything different is good in my opinion.

How does that 034 EFI system compare with something like the Megasquirt?

(coilpacks - just like the bikes)
