Good afternoon S2Forum
No point to the following really - just thought I'd drop a line and say hello.
I have been a member for the last year but have no S2 yet.
I currently own a '95 Audi 80 2.6 which has has been my transport for the last 3.5 years. I do a lot of travelling to and from work and this has been a fanatastically reliable car - having only ever gone wrong once in the 70k or so miles I have piled on. The once, if you are interested ,was the immobiliser chip in the keyfob which failed... fortunately I had a spare key - problem solved!
I have been waiting for the 80 to pack up on me (which it obviously isn't) or to get a job near to home (also unlikely) to use as an excuse to get an S2. Now I'm thinking I can get one as a second car - especially as it turns out I have a garage attached to my house (once I cleared out the 10 years of accumulated cr*p).
So if anyone has an immaculate Coupe in Cricket Green or Byzanz(?) with a black leather interior for sale towards the end of the year, let me know (yes I'm a picky wotsit).
Also, whilst trawling around the various internet sites looking for S2's i have come across www.Autoscout24.com which normally has 10-20 S2 & S1's on there. Its a European site so they're all left hookers, but they have some cool cars on there ....
Finally can anyone recommend a Audi specialist, suitable for S2 servicing etc.. in the Sussex Area - don't think I'm getting tooo ahead of myself do ya!
