I'm looking at 17 inch rims now but they are from the s3 so require adapter to fit pcd 5x100 which i can also get off ebay. What is the fattest tyre size i can fit on 17inch rims without having any rubbing? Can i fit 245/45/17? or 235/45/17?

I have been running 245/40/17 for years with no rubbing. (Bear in mind these are on BBS RC ET35, 8 x 17's if that helps)
