New S2 Owner

Hi all

Well, i've been lurkingaround here for a while now ever since i had the oppourtunity to buy another forum members S2. Well i finally decided to buy it off Phil2.016v and all i can say is WOW!

These cars are ace. I have been a vag man for a while now but normally stick to vw's. After crossing over to Audi all i can say is i doubt i'll go back. Superb cars.

Looking forward to gaining lots of knowledge from all you guys and gals, whilst hopefully meeting up at some meets along the way.

Oh, my names Stu by the way and i'm from Lichfield. So if any of you see me flying round in a Green S2 Avant make sure to wave or say hello.

Glad to see you're enjoying S2 ownership, these cars are bags of fun! Just be careful you don't get bitten by the modding bug, it's rather expensive

Yeah avants rule...!!!! Nothing to do with the fact i've got two dogs..ha ha.

Seriously though, i do think that the avants look really aggressive. Love the coupes also, ever since i was knee high to a grasshopper.

Cheers for the fast welcome all, and i'm sure the modding bug will catch up with me. Probably next year though as i'm going to the ring later this year so all my cash is going towards this at the minute. Oh and some new rear discs and pads tomorrow.

I do hate it when newbies first posts say that they have been 'lurking' for a while....it makes you think of all the utter cr@p you have posted over the last month and what they must think of you (well me anyway )

Surely they would have the rareity factor going for them, didnt they make a lot more coupe's than avants??

At the end of the day, boot or hatch, they still have the same pedigree running through them.

Yeah Lichfield is just north of brum, about 20mins drive away from centre of brum.
