Well guys after a busy weekend I've just grabbed 10 mins tp take a couple of photos of my S2. Didn't get time to wash the pollen off for any that zoom in on the snaps. I'm very pleased with how it's turned out and looking forward to driving it this summer.Leave a comment:

,Thanks Chris, it's been a rocky road so far mainly due to lack of work giving me finacial challenges but I've held on to the dream so far.
Looking forward to driving it back from Edinburgh today then its time for a full service ready for the summer. My two boys are very excited as we didn't get to take it on their first Apex Ecosse road trip to Spa and the Ring last year as it was in the paint shop where it's been since last July!!! They loved the trip as it was a real first for them, I've done nothing but work (hospitality) all their lives, they are 12 & 16 and we had an absolutely fantastic time and introduced them to a world I've loved all my life but locked away in a cupboard so to speak for over 15 years!!Leave a comment:

Hi John the chap fitting the brand new pilkington screen has done a goid few Coups he told the paint shop it had to be done with care before I even mentioned it to them so I'm quietly confident he knows what he's doing.Leave a comment:

Looking good, hoping your screen and trim go back together ok as I believe the trim can be a bit of a challenge?
Any more pictures?

Well chaps it's been a while since I posted anything. In July I took the s2 over to a body shop I've used over the past 15 years to get them to have a wee look over the car and give it a good look over with a view to tidying up a few bits.......well we all know where that leads to right! The car was deemed to be in extremely good order with almost no corrosion at all but it has blemishes and a few dings (27) in the end that were removed with paintless dent removal and a small rust patch at the top RHS of the windscreen. This turned out to be superficial once the screen was removed! Yep you guessed it full glass out repaint and now almost finished almost 7 months on....looking forward to getting her back and then use it this summer.Last edited by Pibbow; 4 February 2024, 16:11.Leave a comment:

Well guys after 3 weeks waiting for a slot to get the two rear tierod mounts welded my S2 now has an MOT!
Must give a huge thanks to Preserve and Protect in Johnston for the excellent work in less than 3 hours! Now I can enjoy the car until my OCD takes hold and I start making the car perfect!Leave a comment:
