thanks guys for the kind welcome. I have got 80 b4 competition. it's a fun car to rag around but it's slow!!!! I have a mk1 golf cab 1.8 and it feels like it smokes it. I presume it's the driveline that gobbles up all the power. I have re trimmed the doors on it. painted the bumpers as they had 20 years of city parking marks on them. I'm working my way through tidying it up. but I can't see my self keeping it too long unless I swap in a 1.8t or something. I don't think it's really a car in standard trim that's made for dry roads. I think I would have much more fun in it in Glasgow. but I get easy convinced to start stupid projects so let's see what happens.
