What engine type 3B or ABY?

3b about 0.8 bar ABY= 1.1 bar at overboost

FYI there are 14 psi in a bar.

cheers mate much appriciated. Mines only boosting at around 5psi, wud this be due to splits in the pipe or do you think it is more serious. (or is it just a naff question). You seem clued up, where can you find some reasonably priced suspension, as they seem pretty rare. ta Mat

5 psi sounds like wastegate boost so your WGFV could be faulty at 1st guess.

There's a few things you need to check. Do a search on the forum for WGFV, the valve that controls boost.

You'll need to check that it's connected and the fuse hasn't blown to it.

Also have your boost system pressure test and your ecu checked for fault codes.

suspension is a matter of choice. there's a few big threads on here, the one to read is by Hpmuirt where we've gone over the various options with ride comfort to handling stated.
