Greetings from sunny south africa, been looking for a s2 for a while now, like hens teeth here, have eventually found one. The chap wants about 7000 pounds for it, it has just under a 100 000 miles on the clock, price is a bit steep I think, but then again as I said like hens teeth here. Well at least you know it will/did do it, hopefully he ain't wrecked it and if you bought it would do it again. Not the best sales tactic but works with some people. Apart from that is the car in good condition (other than what we've seen in the pictures) and does it comes with stacks of receipts for stuff like cam belt, service etc that would need doing soon anyways.Comment

Car seems to be in good nic judging from the pics (1995 model). Still waiting to hear from him about the service history. Been thinking of importing one for a while now, thing is we get hammered on import duties here.Comment

Just make sure to check thru the history and see if he has been maintaining it. Depends what your after really as if you got one from over here that was a bit cheaper and paid abit in importing it what you have left over you could use towards modifying it.Comment

If I could pick one up say for abot 3k over there (is that fair?) bring it over here for about 2.5k including duties, got 1.5k to spemd on mods. mmmmm got me thinking.Comment

Saw an ad at the show earlier H reg dark green 3b, 1 owner from new full history 153,000 on the clock currently up for £2350 but tbh if you had a polite word probably be cheaper, I will try find out the number as think my mate is interested in it. You can get good priced car's over here tho.Comment

Been looking at a few import sites, looks like a lot of red tape to get through
