    Newbie from Northern Ireland...

    Hello folks!

Just signed up this evening, Im from N.Ireland. Just bought myself a 2.8 V6 Saloon a matter of months ago. LOVE it FSH, 65,000 miles. A real minter!

Im on my second set of rims, as wasnt too fussed on the 1st set

I had these Lenso BSX 16x7.5 on, but sold them as I wasnt 100% on them! Pics to follow of new rims on her!

welcome aboard mate. I grew up in portrush and get over there and Grromsport to see my family when I can. What area you in? Really like the 80 by the way.
                cheers

Surprised you changed the wheels as most people tend to favour that design or something similar. Car's looking good, anything else done to it?

                    Welcome aboard !

Been a lil spate of NornIron folk this year... Now I definitely must get off my rear end and organise a decent gathering for us all. Good handful of lads down South too - no excuses now.

@ Animal Mother - No mate its the River Foyle

@ fourcircle - Im in Derry / Londonderry mate, whatever your preference

@ Acidburn - Yeah at first I thought I wanted to opt for the classic kinda rim, as others do too, but they just werent doing it for me once on the car! New rims are 17x8, very Euro looking IMO (pics below).

Also added a spoiler off an 80 Sport and Im well chuffed with the results. Supersport shock+spring setup is also in, which has brought her down around -45mm. Ive added some clear front indicators, genuine 2.8 rear badge and genuine rubber floor mats. I wont really be touching much else unless I get my hands on an S2 front bumper!

These are the rims that are now on, wrapped with Pirrelli P-Zero 205/45/17.
                      In 4-stud of course!

Ive got love for you, In my Audi 80 ... Eigh-ty

Spoke to about a dozen people over the weekend at the NEC from north & south of the Irish border, either s2 or CQ owners, be tempted to venture over the water Paul when you get an event organised/confirmed

haha. Either mate. I'm not one of the people that care. I'm too busy hoarding old Audis.

If Paul organises a meet at home i'll try to get over too.
I really like both sets of wheels. The old ones you sold would look good on the black 80 I have outside but it's going to be sold on pretty quickly. The new ones are spangly **** hot. Must have cost you a few quid (not asking, just meaning they look expensive )

Me neither.... no time for narrow minded people that do actually care about that kind of thing

I reckon a meet over here would be great, get it organised New rims are indeed quite hot if I say so myself, and look really well on the car!

I got the Supersport suspension setup on eBay (fluke if you ask me, cos I couldnt seem to find 2.8 V6 Saloon setups anywhere)

Anyways, they were brand new in box and I got them for an absolute bargain as there were no other bidders Dont ya just love eBay!

Though you can buy direct I believe from: http://www.supersport.de/index-en.htm
