    Mid life crisis

Hello folks, I'm a 'old' (49) jock living in South East Kent.

Have had an audi coupe 2ltr in the past and now have a coupe 2.6E Auto. Sort of regretting the Auto thing. Lovely car but missing the X factor.

Seen an S2 on ebay and after doing some reserch found this forum.

I think I need an S2 but don't tell my missus

What can we say, we all love em! You will need slightly deeper pockets to run an S2 though. My bro runs a V6 for peanuts and i spend tonnes on mine just filling it with juice/service/replacing bits so it goes properly.

There is no getting round the fact, more BHP, more ££££.

Saying that i still have mine and don't really know what i would swap it for, if you already love the shape, the S2 is THE ultimate Coupe.

I have an offroader which has been rebuilt from the ground up.....and I do spend some dollar on that. I plan on selling it, and redirecting the funds I'm throwing at it in the direction of an S2.

Welcome and good luck finding what you need. If you haven't found my site already - have a look at http://S2central.net for a useful point of reference. I update it occasionally, but not as often as I'd like.

You'll do well to take some time, read the FAQs and do some post/thread searching on other topics to get your head up to speed on the S2. It was a state of the art machine in its day, but with the help from this forum you should be well placed to tackle any job or problem that may arise. We can't be held responsible for your credit rating which will take some hammering when the modify bug bites you

Well you might be an S2 virgin, but you have hit the nail on the head there matey, on both counts.....

          1. Yes, it has now been medically proved that diagnosed Audiphiles NEED an S2, or another form of real quattro (note the lack of capitalisation there was on purpose ). When I say 'real' quattro, I of course mean something with Torsens not haldex

          2. Yes again, don't EVER tell the wife how much you spent on a brand new turbo 14 months ago which is still in the shed It will only worry her pretty little head and just just doesn't need that. Just think of all the wrinkles and frown lines you are saving her from!

          Cheers n
