I`m 31 and from Estonia. Few weeks now a new owner of a RS2. Previous owner had done a lots of restoring and mods with the car but engine with turbo KKK 26/27/29/8 (boost 1,6bar) is not working as it should (when i put a pedal to the floor turbo starts at 3500 rpm and at 5500 rpm mixture probably goes wrong because it gets stuck). I suspect a program that has been written considering all the hardware (it`s not programmable).
Should I go for a programmable or is there something else i need to know.
Every help is needed.

Hiya,

Welcome to the forum, there shouldn't be any issues on the standard ECU running that set up, you will need a custom remap to make best use of it though.

Also have you checked for boost leaks?

Have you read the fault memory for codes?
Also if you can speak any finnish, check this forum out:

Did not find any boost leaks, though changed one seal, still same.( and boost is kind of slow) Fault codes clean. For this setup the custom remap is written by Hamon-Motors, should be good. Next week getting closer look of turbo, maybe missed something.
