hello to all, thought this would be a good place to start as a friend and i have just taken on a new project, its a L reg audi s2 ABY, we bought it after an old biddie went into the side of it, the damage is minimal, but the insurance decided to write it off as a cat d, we managed to buy it of fthe insurance company for a decent price, as it has what we are led to believe if rs2 black leather recaro interior, and looks to be a clean example (apart from recent damage) with lots of service history, the thing is, we are in 2 minds of what to do with it now.. fix it up and sell it on, or turn it into our track day fun car, as now its a cat d , it will never fetch 'top' money, anyway pics of the damage below, can anyone tell me what the colour is called as we are on the hunt for a new door, thanks !

Best option is to track day this to the max. These cars aren't renowned for their delicate handling or track ability and BMW drivers usually laugh at us but they are great once you learn to drive them properly and can despatch many a 'delicate' track machine, especailly in the damp when the S2 is the absolute daddy, forget Scoobys and Evos. With a few mods there is stupid power to be had and the chassis can be sorted pretty simply. As you say it'l never make the money with a Cat D on it.
Post up the codes from the service book or boot sticker and someone will know what colour it is, otherwise look on s2-audi.com or s2central.net for help.Cheers'en, AndyC
