    Hello everybody,

    Just signed up to the forum. I am seriously considering getting rid of my 99 1.8T Sport Avant and going retro with an S2 Avant I know most of them will have done high miles, but what sort of milage can you expect out of a well serviced ABY engine before needing a rebuild

    200,000 -250,000.... :thumbs

    There may be some headwork required before then, valve stem seals and a grind, but I have an ABY on 167,000 and it is fresh as a daisy bar a little of oil burn where the oil seeps past the valve stem seals at idle.
