Help! Ur S4 Mapping Vs Chip replacement advice.

Hi! I would just like to begin by saying this site has offered an excellent source of credible and helpful information over the past 10 months. I just hope the lessons I have learnt in the past 10 months can assist others in the future!

    Keep up the good work!

So this is what I have:

    93 S4 Avant AAN
    Reconditioned RS2 Turbo - <500 miles
Green top Siemens 440 RS2 replica injectors
Reconditioned - ported and flowed MTM exhaust manifold
Reconditioned Waste gate with up-rated spring
RDM Tuning custom built free-flowing 3" exhaust system with wicked screamer pipe!
    New N45 valve
    Forge reconditioned diverter valve
Runs as sweet as a nut but I need some advice as to who to approach for remapping to 400 bhp?
Whilst in the subject - if there are any good chips out there producing 400bhp - again - advice?

Finally - with the above components - can I get away with my standard fuel pump?

I am very much new to the Ur scene and have had a baptism of fire in the past 10 months - all comments are greatly appreciated.

    Welcome!

Sounds like a nice little setup you're planning but you won't get 400bhp with an RS2 turbo. 380 tops but unless you upgrade the standard S4 intercooler you'll really struggle. It's pants!! You may want to look into upgrading your rods too as the RS2 turbo can generate bags of torque. The standard fuel pump may just about cope with this setup with a couple of wiring mods but you're probably better off fitting an uprated version such as the Bosch 044 motorsport pump. As for mapping, you need to head up to Banbury to MRC for custom on the road mapping. I don't think a generic chip will be much good with your setup.
'93 S4 Avant now back on the road complete with new shiny go faster bits.

So a trip to MRC is not wise until these additional 'mods' have been implemented? I also have a Garrett GT 3071R which is being rebuilt at the moment - outcome TBC - so that could provide potential options. Being a novice I am still learning the optimum series of changes to safely develop a very powerful car. I definitely intend to end up with a car running 400 initially, and then 450 ultimately - so I need to understand everything that's going to be required.

      Thanks for your advice!
