    Newbie in Wiltshire

Been reading threads etc for some time now and finally broken SWMBO into letting me ignore the credit crunch and get one!

I hope to eventually be able to contribute to the site as much as I am learning now!

All being well I collect the S2 on Thursday from someone on here no less! I promise to keep it in the family.

It is very much going to be a weekend car so not got many great plans for it yet! No doubt tme will change things as and when the cash becomes available!

Work permitting I hope to be able to make the odd meet etc too!

Cant wait to be in a quattro powered Audi again.

Hello again and many thanks for the warm welcome!

Its official I am now the proud owner of an S2 avant via peterr.

                  Raised 2 important questions really:

Why did I wait till now?

                  What can I say, speechless?

Just driven about 220 miles home and cannot believe that the car is 14 years old (young!)

Few niggles to get straight but all in all very happy indeed!

Just must not get lead astray by the modifications!!!

                    Nice one

You're right, it's a bit of slippery slope - upgrading these cars - especially if you read the stuff on this forum. It's hard not to be sucked in - in a good way, but it's just hard on your pocket.

Nonetheless revel in the whole experience and enjoy the car.

                    Kind regards.
