    Canada...eh

I don't remember if I ever introduced myself when I initially joined up, if not I'll do it now. If I did, my apologiez.

I've been an Audi nut since 1989 when I bought my first one an 82 Coupe. My current one is a 1990 CQ and I think that's about as new a model as I'd like. I like the vintage Audi's more so than the new ones.

I am married, have 2 kids, 2 dogs, and in my spare time I am a police officer.

    Cheers

    Enjoy the boards.

Do you have any pics of your Coupe?

    Cheers,

    Steve.

I am currently in Newfoundland but only for another 6 months at most. After that I am likely going to Ontario

cool...coupe is looking good Never get over why they had to spoil the front end with the north american style bumpers, can you legally run a euro spec bumper now or are you stuck with having to keep it stock?

              Hello and welcome!

I was just thinking the same thing, if you can go without the US spec bumpers, that'll be a handy weight saving!

I am actually in the process of acquiring an S2 front bumper for it. I acquired the RS2 lights a while back , just never put them on, so the plan is for the whole front to be re-done, followed by a complete paint job over the winter.

I don't plan on making any modifications to the workings behind the bumper, but whatever needs to be done to get the S2 one on, WILL be done

i'd have thought just the brackets to fit the bumper on, how was you thinking of sourcing them as postage seems to be the pain I know a few people with spare s2 bumpers lying around.

No side indicator, is that a US thing?

The lack of side markers is a North American thing, although new model imports with side markers are now a non-issue.

As long as the price of the S2 bumper is right, I am more than willing to pay for shipping. I've shipped a whole driver side window/regulator and frame unit from GB a couple of years back so I'm not overly concerned with it. Finding the S2 bumper for a reasonable price is the only issue I have (not to lowball, but to make it economically feasible given the likley high shipping cost)
