glasgow rs2 owner 3and a bit years thought it time to say hello.
been snooping around this site for ages loads of great info and good banter.will try and make one of the meets have been an audi fan since i learned to drive have had a few. coupe 20v white g plate and a j plate s2 had a lot more fun in the 20v but i think that was because i was a lot younger. well keep up the good work im off to see fithgear.

does anybody know the top speed for an 1990 20v quattro coupe i seem to remember getting 157mph with the rev counter 2-3 notches in the red such a long time a go loved that car.at the time it was 5 years old with no mods and 96000 thousand miles

I'm due to pick up my 2nd s2 on saturday but the sale of my V6 coupe has fallen through so i'm freaking out a bit. If you know of anyone in the area looking for a bargain let me know. Otherwise i'll be sleeping in one of the cars when my missus throws a wobbler and I have too many cars to fit on the drive... again.

kings park know it well. i went out with a girl from there kingslinn drive i think .Lovely area as i was staying in garthamlock big diffrence. i am now on dumbarton road scotstoun not so nice to have car here lots and lots of scrach marks of the young guys who i chase away from my back.But i did catch a couple the first time i went to my car bmw 5 series old heap really and there was scrach marks all over it.I went mental and thretend every young person i could see after much interogaton i was given 2 names armed with this i asked my 8year old and he gave me the adress of the wee **** but the wife would not let me go.So she went instead i told her that i want them here at my door on friday at 4 oclock to wash and polish the car SHE laughed and said that will never happen but hey come friday the 2 14 year old turned up.As i had calmed down a bit i had to put the angry face on when asking them who scrached the car they both poited at one another and said him i nearly started laughing i am sure they were shaking so after i gave them a good fright i said they could go. They were that shocked that they bumped into each other twice not knowing what to do.The second time i caught a diffrent boy red handed took one of his expensive trainers of him and beat the **** out of him with it then kept the shoe

haha. fantastic. I live just on Curtis Ave, heading from Hampden through to Rutherglen. Not the fancy bit of king's park i'm afraid but it does for now. I ended up digging out my front garden by hand and making a driveway because I was getting scratches, wing mirrors kicked off, aerials snapped... all that. That's what happens when you go to buy a house and mistake the pub for an industrail unit. oops. it's a bit tidier now but the idiots that come out of it are just the same.

i know scotstoun ok. I have a friend down there and used to be up on ruskin terrace where Gt western rd meets byres rd. ahhhh, those were the days.. when I rented and could afford to live in a fancy flat. Now I have to keep an eye on the little sh1ts, same as you. although if i did anything to them i'd have a meathead at my door soonenough, caring enough to have a go at me for disciplining his kid but not caring enough to actually teach him right and wrong. Still.. there's only so much you can expect from primates.

just had me wheel of for the first time since owning he car new back brake discs fitted 3 weeks ago seemed fine . Then i noticed that the brake pad at the outside rime about20mm is not touching the disk but the bottompart is touching no clearance seems to be a bit of play inpad.So will give it back to garage who fitted it hoping its a stone or something silly the inside pad looks good even distance and wear that would be the first thing that has went wrong in 3 half years.Got to get some front ones soon then on too the suspenstion.lying in the outside of the road at the end of the express way is scary got to get me self a shed.Think i should be able to go to the meet nice to see some other cars never seen an s2 avant or rs2 on the road and only a couple of s2 coupes. my wife thinks i when to buy a nice old estate for going camping and the shopping and she thinks its an old mans car i just love the way it goes and that you can do loads in the back.. and i dont want yous all laughing at my cheap indian made tyers at the meet i got them for nought brand new
