    For many years an Audifreak

Hi folks, my real name is Sander, male, 38 years of age and I live in Amsterdam -The Netherlands.

How do yo get infected with "the audi virus"?
Well in my case it started in the 80's....rally quattro's. Watching group B on the tv.

As a young teenager I used to help my uncle with a lot of restauration projects.
Went to a technical school and during my study I got in contact with some people from Shell. At the age of 16 (1986) I left school and started working at the engine lab. at Shell in Amsterdam.
Here's where I really got infected with the audi virus....all kind off engines where available, building & testing 4 and 5 cylinder car engines was my job.
There it was...the lightweight l-5 from audi...
They gave the job of assembling this engine to me....
At that time I didn't realize how special this engine is/was.

In '88 I had to leave Shell and the guy's from the lab did come up with a nice gift.
I didn't know that they kept the engine in store and they wrapped it as gift for me to take it home....nice, this was the first race-engine I got my hands on and now it was mine. Later on I bought a 200 5T for about 500 euro's and swapped the engine.
This car was fun but very dangerous to drive....(no 4WD)

After this I bought an ur-quattro, after 2 months the car broke down.

    4 other 200 5T folowed...and then no Audi for a long time.

Recently a old friend of mine gave me some audi parts he wanted to get rid off.
    And then I got infected....again.

I'm gone build me my own Audi....

    So what is it I'm planning to do: build a type43 (c2) 2-door Quattro 200 5T thing.
Ofcourse a s2 6 speed drive train gotta goin as wel. (S2 donorcar is on it's way)

    So far my introduction.

You're right, the type43 body cannot accept 4WD. To do that I have to use the floor of an ur-Quattro and weld it in. Has been done before.
Since a cheap hard body is hard to find I want to use the type44 floor.
