Thanks for photos,
love the plentiful supply of parking spaces.
IMHO a digital boost gauge might be hard to read when car is boosting, think of a normal small analogue gauge in the middle of the three centre air vents over the bank of switches? Fog, HRW etc..
Someone will post a photo and possibly advise where the gauge holder can be got?
Nice interior on the S2 and like the idea of a 96 model year.
Wheels - what follows is all money !
Expensive option - change Cq 2.8 v6 to 5 x 112 stud and put on 17' Avus or any other 5 x 112 stud rim, bigger choice when using 5 x 112.
Cheaper option - to put on Cabrio Boleros - think they are 8 x 17 and 4 x 108.
For Cabrio - same two options as above, but IMHO based on a RHD one. Depending on the budget there is a great choice of cars and specs.
My LHD '83 MK 1 GLI Golf Cabrio was good fun as the car was in great condition and inexpensive, but after a while the LHD became too annoying so converted it to RHD, but sold it to a pal before putting an engine back into it and he is just about to finish it off with the installation of a Audi 6a 2.0L 16v engine and power steering.
Food for thought on the Audis above, and a great way to waste more money and time, but hey if you've got either, why not, you could do a lot worse.
HTH somewhat,
whatever you might decide, enjoy the choice of the three.
Kind regards.
