Open the boot, lift the carpet flap and remove the plastic tray on the right hand side.

Now grab a torch, bend over and stick your head in the hole.

There is a label on the inside of the rear valence with all of your codes inc: -

Vin number
Engine code
Gearbox code
Trim code
Paint code
option codes

Trouble is, the label is the right way up and you will be upside down, so it is easier to take a picture of the label

Alternatively, the same label should be on the inside cover of your service book.

Yes, in the VW microbus / kombi - you know your Fives! There was even a 2.6 at the end. I have always been a big fan of the 2226cc.

No luck, no sticker & no service book. I was so damn eager to get an silver ABY S2, I took the first one I got get - aren't that many here. Is there another way I could tell, I am guessing crystal silver as it has a very slight blue tint to it.
