    Newbie with some questions!

I recently purchased a 1991 Audi S2 3B Coupe. I have been reading for a few days on this forum as well as S2central. I have taken a few pictures of the problems I have found and wondering what part they are and if it is common. Both of my windows do not work. I took them apart and the cable in both of them has snapped the motors both work fine is there a cable and spool replacement kit? Also one of the window motors has broken off of its' mount. The blower motor doesn't even turn on is there a part number or a place I can order this? The main radiator has the top bleed screw like gooed shut to I guess stop a leak. Do you have a cost worth replacement site for the radiator and moutning and bleed screw? Here are the pictures of some leaks I found no Idea where they are ocming from. Also turbo boost is very iffy. Sometimes it engages, sometimes It does not. http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?im...800x600xc9.jpg
http://img5.imageshack.us/my.php?ima...800x600mo6.jpg < there is oil leaking everywhere there as well as seen in this photo. http://img201.imageshack.us/my.php?i...800x600no7.jpg and this one http://img410.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img2225nu9.jpg
What is the part number for the drain nut? Also the oil filter?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

    Thank you!

There is a cable and spool kit available for the windows. Used to be available from Vagparts here in the UK but now may be Dealer only or a US equivalent of Vagparts. If you use the search function you'll find an extensive post on how to replace the cable. Just remember to mark the position of the fixings to the door frame before you remove the glass assembly so you can get it back in the same place to save the hastle of trying to realign the glass.

Check the blower motor is free to turn and free it up with WD40 before giving up on it as well as it's fuse. If the motor only runs with the speed switch at max then the thermal fuse in the resistor speed control pack has blown and can be replaced. A new blower motor isn't cheap but it's common with other Audis and several European cars so you'll find one in your local breakers.

It may be the radiator bleed screw was gunged because the fibre sealing washer which should be under it was lost so I suggest you clean it up and replace the fibre washer before you invest in a new radiator.

Leaking of the oil cooler hoses due to old age is common. Again search on here for posts.

      Thank you?

I appreciate the quick response. Does the cable assembly come with the spool inside of the motor? Also what other cars have the same parts that were made in the USA. I am trying to renew this audi but parts are so hard to find and I was wondering if there is an american car with simliar parts.
