hi there in 2 weeks time i will be recieving a Audi S2 coupe for free its so say a 2.8 V6 but its not a quattro so im not sure if thats true.My mate had it for a little bit and had a little running problem with it and its been in the garage for about a year and he said i can have it as i have always loved it.

Yup, they did both FWD and quattro versions of the 2.8 V6. But as Jas said, they ain't no S2.
I had one for 9 years and had both the V6 and my S2 for about a year. It was a lazy relaxed cruiser around town but the engine pulled very hard at higher speeds (106MPH in third gear
) and pulled smoothly up to a GPS measured 162MPH on a private test track and over 155MPH 6 times per lap around Lemans
There is not a lot of scope for tuning them - you might manage an extra 15BHP with filters and flowing mods etc but it will cost you a fair amount to extra that small extra amount.
Like the S2, they are under braked and the suspension is a bit soft for fast country lane work with all that weight but a great motorway cruiser

hi jas11n thats a good looking s2 you have but you have worked wonders with your audi 80 tdi. you dont live to far from me in the north east,did you have a feature in audi driver about your 80 tdi project? this is a question to anyone watching am after a miltek exhaust for my s2 coupe once its fixed any clues anyone i currently have a miltek from the back to the middle so i need middle to the front of the car suggestions help would be great or anyone selling one would be good i know kim collins have it for about 800 quid ishComment
