Engineer hey, sounds like a lot of us on here, the S2 is quite an engineers car, quiet, confident and can show its class when required. Hope you find a car, check out www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales and www.autotrader.co.uk for UK cars, you might get lucky and find a LHD one

Maybe i've more chance to find a LHD S2 in germany .

I don't want to make RHD -> LHD conversion . Lot of work , lot of time , lot of money .

But you say there is LHD in uk ?

Not so many LHD S2s but plenty of RS2s and as the £ is so weak you could get a bargain!

                  If i'm here , it's probably because i want S2 ... yes .

Before i want scooby or evo , but $$$$$ .
                  S2 only $$$$ .

                  I never drive S2 , but i like the 5Inline sound , the turbo ( ) , and not lot of electronics ( )

But negative point : 1400 kg ( Erf ) , and apparently the front move more than the rear ( In french we said : sous vireur )

Yes, the front is a bit heavy so it can understeer, but that is the way Audi wanted it to be, its `safe` However it is fairly easy to change that

Do you prefer the Coupe or Avant? Of course in LHD you also have the Sedan option

And how to change that ? ( whithout delete the front differencial )

I prefer the coupe , don't like the look of avant ( and station wagon in general )

If you dont like the Avant I am not going to tell you .....

You can change the anti roll bars. The Coupe has not got such good rear suspension as the Avant/Sedan. I have never had a Coupe so some of the Coupe guys will have to tell you what bars they have on their cars and how it handles. In English it is called `understeer` and `oversteer`. Oversteer is when the back comes out - like drifting. There are probably lots of threads on here about it if you search for oversteer.

                          Understeer : Sous virage
                          Oversteer : Sur virage

                          Easy in fact !

I see that this forum is more friendly than french forum ... Even with my bad english level , i see that people are cool here
