    Hello from foggy Cornwall

    Hello chaps and chapesses.
I thought I'd start early on here I'm in the process of trying to buy an RS2 and this seemed like the place to start swatting up on all the info.
One or two of the members knows which one I'm after and I hope it all works out, all I need to do is flog my RS4 B5.
Blatant bit of advertising now does anyone want a nice RS4 at a very good price?? Send me a pm if you do (I may be up for a swap if i miss the present target, but hope not).
    Take it easy now.
    T

Not so sure it's going backwards... I've driven both and I tell you what would 'punt' down those tight Cornish lanes with impunity... And it's not the B5...

I was looking for an RS2 when i bought the 4 and I still have the urge, plus I like more classic cars eg lotus cortinas etc.
So the 2 fits the bill as they say.
Anyway i like to be a trailblazer with these things.
        Cheers

RS2 is a good purchase, sure it's slower and won't handle as well but that's all part of the fun

Yes it is indeed Richards car!
I've had the unusual occurance of being able to check the cars back to back as I drove to London village in the RS4 and back (on a easter friday opps) in the RS2.
I'm surprised at the 2 its' quite a lot more civilised than I thought.
Various things stand out, it's a lot better on fuel than the 4 and a lot more nippy around smaller roads and A roads. The 4 is king of the motorways and has a lot more toys but none that I've missed (maybe the bose system).
One big difference is build quality, the 2 is far superior in every way, also it has bags of character.
I feel that the 2 is the better car for Cornwall and am beyond pleased.
We should have some pics soon of the Kernow pair.
                          Cheers

Well done, it's just one of those cars you'll bond with. 5 years time it'll still make you smile when you walk across a car park and get in, when you drive it hard, or just sat in traffic...
