Thanks dude, yes she does sound awesome, also have her Remapped and have a Milltek too, the combination makes a great sound!

One of the major things that concerns me with the RS2 is the interior (great at a car of its time) but compared to this car I will miss the bells and the whistles, If I do sell the car.

        Gorgeous car that B7 RS4

to the forum - you should find plenty of R/S2 info on the forum. There have been a few in the for sale section recently, also on pistonheads.

Whilst it is true that the S2/RS2 is lacking in bells, whistles and other morris dancing paraphernalia, it can have electric recaro seats, heated seats, cruise control, diff lock/switchable ABS, sunroof, electric doors/mirrors, AC, DIS/computer etc so it is not exactly a fred flintstone mobile.

Other than audio controls on the steering wheel and a second trip computer, what else do you think you would miss?

              Cheers n

Well I have Sat Nav on my Becker stereo with bluetooth, Recaro electric heated seats and you cannot beat the IL5 for sound tracks....remember it revs nearly as high as your NA V8 and for less than £1K the RS2 can be tuned to almost the same power so I guess that leaves your TV, which you can't watch when you are 4 wheel drifting anyway

Yup, the only 2 major options not offered in Blighty were the solar powered sunroof and the climate control.....we have to make do with manual aircon but that is not exactly a hardship. That said, it is apparently fairly easy to convert to climate.

                  Cheers n

Ok cheers bud, btw the V8 revs up to 8250 RPM, a very revvy V8 by all accounts, I did not realise the 5 pot revved that high on the RS2.

where do you get your RS2 serviced, would you use a Audi Dealership or even a Porsche one?

It doesn't. The redline on an RS2 is 7200 IIRC.

Interesting debate. I see you have met Simon. (HPmuirt) He could argue for England...

8250 is indeed very revvy. Stock IL5's mostly rev to 7400 but there are very few stock engines on this site Last time I heard an IL5 rev to 8K it sent shivers down my spine and I was accelerating from 80MPH at the time.....he on the other hand was in the next county

Neither have heard of the car these days. We regularly get 'I didn't know they made an S2/RS2 version of the A2' from the children who seem to work in Audi dealers and the only common Porsche parts are the mirrors and brakes.

I would hazard a guess that most folks use independant Audi specialists or better still quattro specialists.

                        Cheers n
