Hi all!

My name is Rob and I'm from Nottingham, and I thought I'd come and say hello, as you'll be seeing a lot more of me on this forum, as I'm just getting cracking with my new project; putting an Audi 20v 5 pot engine in an e30 BMW!

I hope I don't upset too many people with this idea, but it should be awesome!

I'll get a project thread up soon, so make sure you pop in and have a gander!

sounds like a good project, what will you be doing about a gearbox? i assume you'll stick with bmw, in which case how will you bolt it to the engine?
oh and put up some pics of the e30

Well, I don't like the idea of swaping an engine that is not from the same group... but, sounds to be very interesting and I wish you a good luck with the project! BTW... post some pics from your conversion! WELCOME Aramil !

Sounds an interesting one, can I ask why you want to use the 5cyl Audi lump tho? There are lots of other proven routes for e30 conversions thats all..

oh interesting, dont think id do it cant see anything wrong the 6pot
but id be mighty interested in such a machine love the look of the e30

gearbox adaptor plate or whats plan for that?
