You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Hi guys and girls, im kev as my username suggests,i live in sunny essex on the coast and ive been in to vw's since i started driving at 17 (im now 25)and had several golfs, mostly mk2s, my current car is a mk2 golf with 242bhp 20vt lump in it, but im getting bored of golfs as evryones got one, so thats up for sale now and i fancy an s2, probably an estate. so before i start asking questions that everyone has asked, can u point me in the direction of a what to look for thread, if there is one.

One of the best things you can do is just literally trawl through the forum reading as many threads as you can! There is a goldmine of info on here.
Dont rush into buying one without doing your homework first or it can be very costly, i spent a fortune transforming mine... Then i lost heart and sold it!
Im on my 2nd one now and love it.

Hi, I started off with 2.3 20v Quattr coupes! then a 2.8 quattro that broke! So naturally moved on to a s2! I agree look around and don't jump at the 1st 1 that pops up just down the rd!
