    RS2 owner from Jersey CI

    Hello gang.
I have owned my RS2 for the last 10 years.
I used to work with the original owner so very familiar with it's history.
It is serviced by a specialist Audi / Porsche garage where one of the technicians PDI'd the car in 1995.
It has a huge history file and has recently done 70K miles and has recently undergone a "windows out" restoration.
New front fog and indicator lights and all mouldings.
    Very happy with the results:

              RS2 refurb

              Thanks gang.
It had been used as a daily drive so every panel had a bump or scratch somwhere.
Needless to say, now it is my weekend/hobby car as we have a new A3 sportback for every day use and i have a Transporter T5 4 motion for work.
              The car was fully resprayed.
All doors came off along with windscreen and rear glass.
Suprisingly all of the upper and lower door mouldings were available from Audi.
Also got some 993 brake ducts, that replace the fog lights, sprayed up.
Will have a go at fitting those when I get a free weekend.
The motor is completely standard aprt from a K&N panel filter and an S3 recirculation valve as the OEM unit failed.
In the last couple of years the O2 sensor was replaced along with the MAF.
I have come to the conclusion the O2 sensor may have been faulty for a while.
Used to get pulsing on a neutral throttle, also the MPG used to fluctuate as.
As soon as the O2 was swapped it smoothed out the power delivery under all conditions and gets slightly improved MPG.
It now pulls like a train.

They went the extra mile to get a superb finish.
We will have to sort out an S2 mini meet.
                          Just say when and where.
