Hi ya'll

I'm Mick from Nottingham.
Been lurking on here a while. Thought it about time I introduced myself!

I'm primarily a classic Ford nut but also have a strong interest in classic German stuff too. Basically anything go-faster & retro!!

I have a type 85 Audi 90 quattro with 20v turbo lump fitted whici I intend to upgrade further. Full story to follow in the projects page.
Will be looking for advice etc too..

I'm more of a Cossie engine into Mk1 Escort/Anglia etc kinda chap!!!
Plenty of nice Cossies out there though!
FWD RS turbo's are ok-ish.. They don't go sideways though!!!!!!

I'd love to do a sapphire cosworth rep with a 2litre turbo zetec in it - think that would be cheaper than a proper cossie with a decent power plant

Nice idea, although would prob cost as much to build something like that as buying a real one.
I've seen Zetec turbo's fitted in some nice cars, from a Mk1 Cortina to a RWD converted Mk3 Escort

Just think that the engines are easier and cheaper to do, thats the only reason over a cosworth lump. If I blow it up a new engine is a piece of cake to source.
