Dutch hi from Växjö Sweden - Audi 80 Quattro

    Hi everbody,

My name is Martin, I'am a student from the Netherlands and at the moment I live and study in Sweden at Växjö university. I'am a big fan of Volkswagen and Audi, and back home I have a vw scirocco GT MKII, a polo coupe GT and a polo G40. But to be well prepared for the Swedish weather conditions I bought myself a quattro, it is a Audi 80 B3 with a 1.8 90ps engine. I think this might be the slowest car at this forum , but for me it is a perfect car to drive through the Swedish snow.

At the moment I have no special plans with the car, because I don't have a workshop to work on the car here in Sweden. But the car can use a bit more power, so I'am already dreaming to do a engine swap to the famous 20V 1.8t engine when I am back home.

Some pictures from when I was preparing the car back home:

And some pictures I took here in Sweden:

    And my two volkswagens:

    Greetings Martin

I didn't find that much information about a 1.8T swap to a 1.8 B3 Quattro, but I was thinking about using a Audi A4 1.8T engine, because it is already built to be in the length of the car. Read somewhere that it is possible to use the A4 clutch setup, didn´t read anything about the oil filter housing and servo pump. Can you explain me a bit more maybe?

i love my rocco's. first car was a scala. bought a storm in blue and as the scala was almost identical in colour i swapped ther bootlid for the badgeless of the storm, full wiring loom, engine, dash, rear carpets, tank, etc etc.

                went from carb to injection.

that was my first real job on the car, with help from a few friends.

Cool, my Rocco is also my first car. Bought it after passing my driving test, then drove it for two years, sold it to a guy from Belgium and than re-imported the car two years ago. Now I will never sell it, at some day I will restore it.

For the rocco lovers, one more picture of the Rocco with a mate's 944

i think the clutch and oil filter housing are only an issue in the type 81/85, a4 clutch and flywheel fitted into my b3 no problem.. although i have yet to get it running and try it lol
