    Bon 3

    Hi Folks,
Just a quick introduction. Although not a brand new 'Newbie' other commitments have limited my time to post on the forum. However I am an avid reader of the really interesting threads and on-going projects.
I have a 2 owner 3B (incl me), registered 1/1/91 - one of first 400 into the country.
Now I have been a bit lazy - well really lazy, as I have had car 3 years and really done nothing other than basics to keep mot'd. Along the way there have been times when I was going to sell it, and even advertised it.
Now I know this is where controversy will arise, however, I feel even the 3B's are worth more than money they attract. A car with so much potential that cost a small fortune new and has had several additional 1000's spent, has got to be worth more than the £1500 offers. Without even seeing the car by the way! I know we all like a bargain, but come on!
Anyway rant over, I am now just going to work away it as and when time and injuries allow.
I will be asking for lots of guidance and hope you guys will impart your vast knowledge to me? The car has not been modified in any way.
Will keep looking at forum for ideas and guidance. Keep up the interesting and informative threads.
    Cheers for now!

PS First bit of begging LOL! Does anyone know where I can source the headlamp washer nozzle bit (not whole jet) - some peasant nicked mine off car?

Many thanks for that, Desti had also given me number just a minute ago!
Had spoken to Audi in meantime and they stated had to buy whole unit £79 each.
This is what I mean about the value of you guys and your knowledge.
        Again thanks !

          Welcome to the forum.

Seems the washer jets pop off for fun during the winter months with the screenwash/water freezing inside and the silicone/adhew being weak after so many years. I've bought 2 this year from the stealers, costing about £8 each, which is much nicer than the price for the whole unit.

welcome to the forum and yeah the washer jets manage to push themselves out from time to time so just every so often check them and push them back down, you should hear a click that they are seated fine

A big thanks to all for their input and advice.

With regards to mods, you probably are right. Started to collect some bits and pieces already. Scorpion exhaust, rear lights in red, ellipsoid lights, kamei grille.
I want to gather the bits and then decide how extensive I want to go with car mods/ restoration. I plan to fit better brakes and upgrade suspension.
On the suspension issue, any advice? Have read loads of threads and still undecided. What is best all round units - Bilsteins, HR, Koni etc. etc.!!!!
Also I am not too fond of the existing shade of green of car. Thinking of maybe going to the current Audi dark green pearl metallic. This would avoid log book changes and looks a really smart colour - bordering on black without the 'keeping clean' issue of black.(Maybe ?)
