Introduction from OZ

Hi All,

I have strong ties with the Audi Club in Vic (state in OZ) and currently have the following,

VW Bora V6 4motion
Audi 80 Q 2.6 Race car


And what led me to this forum, I just bought a very rare (In OZ) Audi 80 2.6e Avant which I hope to put an S2 motor into eventually.

Having been in an RS2 that would be great but probably not cost effective

I didn't think there were any 80 Avants in Australia (if you the don't count the one RS2 that's been brought over from NZ). Was yours sold by Audi locally or someone's personal import?

Hi, there aren't any from what I can tell ! It is a personal import with compliance plates etc. I haven't seen the car yet as it's due to arrive next week but I do have some pictures !

Does anyone know the tare of the Audi 80 Avant 2.6 Auto ?

What is the max permissable tow weight ?

Anyone know where I can get a tow hitch from will the sedan version fit ?
