Thanks! No turbo swap yet I had actually crashed an identical car and had to spend all of my money on this one. Go figure!

Suspension-wise, I built a height adjustable coilover setup. For the fronts, I used VAP's CCK with 400# springs, bilstein sports, and 034 street strut mounts. The rear is using 450# springs along with bilstein sports as well. Kept the rear bar and upgraded to the thicker B5 S4/sport bar. The Wheels are 16x7.5 et 30 Borbet Type C replicas with 225/50/16. There are 15mm spacers in the front. The rears are actually lower than what that picture suggests.

Engine-wise - mostly bolt on stuff. There is a gasket matched intake manifold that's connected to a ported throttle body attached to a 3" intake tract going into a ported 3" MAF with a velocity stack in the airbox. All of the A/C components are also removed. Recently, I had put in a 12lb flywheel from an aan with a 7a spec stage 2 clutch disk. To make the vroom vroom noises, equal length headers connect to a full 3" system with a hi flow cat and two resonators. It is very loud and needs to be quieted down. Fun for when I want it to be though

I put in a trip computer, which B4 cars in North America did not receive. It also has a non-airbag 3 spoke sport wheel. Fancy LED license plate lights and 4300k HID for the lighting. Can not forget the European bumpers, which make the car look 100x better than the stock US bumpers! I'm probably forgetting a lot, but that is the jist of it.

If that's not what you meant by spec, I feel like a fool

      Hello bro!
Nice car, pity it is not turbo but maybe one day will swap.
You can write something more about the threaded suspension, and on which components are made of?

Turbo?! Why when a nice V8 will do nicely!

Hey 95 heard what Petar on Motorgeek is planning for his CQ...Audi V8. I'm thinking about doing something like that:mischeif:.

If I'm not mistaken, that's a nice 928 you have there in the background

I like the airbox mod on the V6 (and the mad downpipes) - the V6 airbox is stupidly restrictive looking. Mine hasn't passed any air in almost a year now - long story - tales of woe from a wintry night because some cheapskate (previous owner, not who I bought it from) didn't renew a timing belt tensioner when they should have.

I would like to hear it burbling again, and maybe even drive it, but engine rebuilds are so damn expensive to do properly

Surprisingly, it flows better than the cone filters. VAP, who is over here in America, cut out the existing inlet behind the headlight and fit a giant velocity stack in it's place. I would love to do that, but don't have any time.

All of the parts can be sourced from a1 racing..

Four of these in whatever rate you want. I went 7" tall with B4 suspension

I can't recall the size of the sleeve or the perch for the B4 off the top of my head, but the sleeve is smaller in diameter. All you have to do is measure the diameter of the shock absorber and go from there. Just make sure the perch you get matches up with a 2.5" spring along with the new sleeve.

Also, this was incredibly helpful with finding the parts

Not offhand, but if I remember correctly, EDIGREG has an online compendium of all the workshops and what not that have been posted on Audiworld and Quattroworld over the years. If you got his URL, you could very well be reading for hours

                    Hey guy.
Your post is very helpful in this topic.
In most operations but I know it most helpful to me is the description of dismantling the rear shock mount, and from nowhere because no one I could find out in what way mounted on the shank is the upper mount.
As a part of it with us in Poland also was available, such kits are universal, the question of just choosing the appropriate diameters and shock absorbers.
                    Thanx
