    Howdy,

I'm new around here and just thought, I'd pop in and say hello. I'm from Denmark orignally, but live in Ireland for quite some years now.

    I've had a few Audi's in my past (all while living in Denmark), but it's been many years ago. With other cars in between, there's been a '73 Audi 80 1.6, a '83 Audi 80 1.6, a '77 Audi 100 Avant 5E, a '82 Audi Quattro and a '79 Audi 200 Saloon.

More than 10 years, since my last Audi, this little gem crossed my path and I could not resist and bought this on tuesday:

The spec of this Audi 200 Avant Quattro is fully electric leather sports seats, aircon, electric sunroof and all the usual gadgets. The car has 179000 miles on the clock and is perfectly tight on the drive. Currently, there are no modifications to speak off and I'm not sure, if I want to do any bar the sound system.

Anyhow, I'll lurk around for a while and we'll see.

    /M

Just been for the NCT test this morning.

                        These are the fails:
                        - rear left door can't be open (Dude, maybe you should unlock it first )
                        - center drive-shaft mount worn
                        - rear right tracking bushing worn
                        - side-slip test failed (tracking front or the fact, that the new brake pads aren't worn in yet).

Everything else passed. Not bad for a 22 year old car.
