    Hey Guys and Gals

Hi everyone, i'm Jason, and i'm interested in getting myself an S2.

For the past few years, i've been driving Toyota Supras, in various states of tune (upto around 500hp in my old one) I've been looking into cars to replace my current non turbo Supra with, and these S2s have really caught my attention. I've got my current Supra for sale on Pistonheads: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2461576.htm

I'd be interested in taking an S2 in PX, cash either way. I should really be looking for an Avant, as I have a dog, but no doubt i'll end up looking at the coupes

I'll be having a good read through the forums, to get an idea of exactly what these cars are like to live with, though by the looks of it they seem to be a great package. Any opinions or input would be appreciated

    Cheers, Jason.

Looks like quite a nice supra you have for sale.

S2s are a different kettle of fish to a high powered turbo Supra. I will probably get critisized for saying this on here but the 2JZ engine is better than an Audi I5. Don't get me wrong though, I would have an S2 over a Supra any day! In fact I do have an S2...

Depending on what you've owned and driven before, you might be dissapointed with a completely standard S2 with 230bhp. A chip will make a fair bit of difference though, most take the power up to around 280bhp.

The thing with S2s is they are so well sorted, they don't feel that fast until you either look at the speedo or have a go against another "fast" car.

    Good luck with your search!

Gonna have one pissed off dog if you put it in the boot of a coupe, though.

I thought that when I bought my first coupe. I didn't even consider an avant.

Then I bought one. When it was rolled off the delivery truck onto my driveway I thought to myself *why did I not get an avant in the first place, it looks so much better*

The avant has double wishbone rear suspension rather than single on the coupe. You don't have to get out to let your mates in the back, you can get stuff in the boot, and they're more of a sleeper. All of this for only an extra 35kg!

The S2 actually seems to have pretty good potential, maybe not quite so much as a Supra, but the capacity is much smaller. In the Audi engines defence, they sound nicer than the 2JZ IMO (The Audi I5 sounds a little like the Audi V10, which is no bad thing )

We have small lap dogs that sit on my wifes knee & I haven't got any mates, so coupes are better

                    Nope, a 1996 ABY Coupe

It needs a bit of work (minor niggles) that will be sorted without too much hassle.

                      Collected my S2 today

It's a 1996 ABY coupe in Kingfisher blue with cream leather. 132k on the clock with loads of history and a fresh MOT. The previous owner had been on here a bit.

I've just received a 'first aid kit' from Furniture clinic to get the interior looking spotless again.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow

I think that one has a black interior.

No, I picked it up locally. I'll take some pics later on with a bit of an explanation. Only drove it briefly yesterday, but suffice to say I'm very impressed how it carries speed through corners
