    First S2...

Hi everyone, thought it was about time i introduced myself ive been lurking for a little while in the background checking out the site and learning as much as i can about S2's as ive been wanting one for some time now.
Im a big fan of VAG cars for their good looks and good build quality. Very recently my old 2.0l 16v Mk2 Golf made way for my first S2. It had been a while since id driven an S2, the last time it was an Avant and it was then i decided i definately had to have one be it Coupe or Avant as i think they both look awesome.

So, last weekend me and the missus picked this up . here it is after a quick clean. Already ive found a few niggly problems with it but its not too bad cosmetically. Also needs some attention mechanically, the tyres all need replacing as they're worn low and unevenly so probably some suspension/steering parts require replacing followed by a four wheel alignment. Also a good service aswell as water pump and cambelt kit so ill be getting stuck in very soon.

    Cheers
    Dave

Nice looking car,I've git the Porsche wheels, look really nice, looks like it is lowered too gap to the arch is tight. Good luck and start saving for the work ahead.

Hi, at first i thought they were rs2 wheels but they're actually mille miglias im still not sure if id rather have the standard wheels or not as im a bit of a purist.

The car was previously owned by a guy called Darron who had it for about 9 years im guessing he might be a member here? Apparently its an ex-press car aswell?

yeah its on some lowering springs but still plenty of clearance for the damn speed humps etc. And yes im ready to be drained of cash and time but its going to be rewarding on a S2.

                          Thanks for the replies guys.

I thought they were RS2 wheels but the centre caps have mille miglia written on them?
It would be nice to get some Audi centers on them either way.
