Newbie with S6 Avant

Hi All,

Just a quick post, I have been on here before lurking, I had a 1996 A6 Tdi Quattro Avant, but finally swapped over the proper petrol 5 pot. Bought the car of ebay, I will post more pics in members cars.

I'm based over in Northern Ireland, near Carrickfergus.

And why it seems to have two full size side mirrors? (Assuming that it is RHD, but then again, looking at the windscreen wipers, it *might* be a LHD). ??

That's normal over here!

Nope!! Don't know much about it although, I do know it was damaged in the front end. Have had a look and seemed to just have got radiators and lights etc, didn't even know the bumper was different!!

My Seat Ibiza has a Nemo mirror, its parked behind the S6 in my other photos in members cars.

C4 UrS Bumper Info

If it has a 5 pot, it isn't technically S6Plus spec. S6Pluses were all 326 hp V8s. That said, the trim used in the 1997 (and only year) S6Pluses *did* find its way to the final run of UrS6 20Vt cars.

As with the "Nemo" mirror, this was the closest the RHD cars got to the S6+ (minus the engine ofcourse). Ive seen at least 2 more 1996 RHD S6 models with S6+ bits in this forum.
