Car: S2 Avant, slightly modified, plus a few old VWs. All of them are just weekend toys, because my job is to drive and write about cars for a magazine.

I came to this forum just for a few informations about the rear brake-upgrade to the B7 S4-setup. But well, since then I am a regular reader. Great projects, great threads

@macspring. This is an old picture from fall 08, its already been dropped slightly with a Hohenester-Kit. handles pretty well, and thats what its all about. I like the sleeper-look of it.

Yeah, chips and some other stuff from a nice guy from liechtenstein
No ring-tool, but a nice streetcar-setup with good response and enough power.

sure, here we go:

my 71 beetle, first car, bought in 92, got my license in 96. got bored of the 1600 lump and stored it away. till today. will sell it that summer.


mk1 golf gti, model year 84, totally stock. well nearly. runs kw-coilovers, bbs splits and a freshly balanced and lightened bottom end.


my favourite, the mk2 gti 16v from 86, own this car since 97. greatest handling car i´ve ever owned, with eibach group a-suspension, quaife-lsd, eibach-arb´s and a 2,1 l-block with lehmann-head. still running the new engine in, but feels great already

Not really. The second one looks like the paint is not as dark as in the first photo - but that could just be lighting. Suspension seems to be the same. Wheels same. Additional wheel arch trim in both. The non-stock exhaust (Sebring? Abt?) shows in the second photo. What else?
