    Audi newbie

Hi, I've just bought my first Audi after years of driving mainly VW's.
I sold my mk2 Rallye Golf a couple of weeks ago and spotted a beautiful UR-S6 Avant and knew I had to have it. I was meant to buy a diesel wagon with the funds from the sale of my Golf but I've kinda convinced the mrs that fuel consumption will be OK on the S6! To be honest it aint bad at all, but that damn pedal can be addictive which won't help..

Thought I'd introduce myself though as problems do arise with cars and a forum like this will be the best place to get some quality info and inspiration from. I've not got many plans but a couple of things do need looking at mechanically, although the ride height needs to be a little bit lower, any links for decent suspension/coilovers?

Here's a pic of her, need to take some proper ones soon.

    Andy

Welcome, nice looking motor you got there. There are a few options for S4/S6 suspension, im sure others will chime in with their setup. I'm running Bilsteins and H&R springs in mine which is an ok setup, more comfy than sporty.

As for fuel economy in an S6, all i can say is

    93UR-S4 - The Magic Carpet
    94S2Bus - The Emerald Express

            Welcome to the Audi fold

From the one picture it looks like you have got a late Ur S6 (plus spec wheels and no chrome?) either way the s6 is an amazing car, i regret selling mine. Very fast, handles well and will carry pretty much anything.

            More pictures are always welcome
