            small update for you all.

Suspension kit should be being delivered this afternoon.
            Got new top mounts.
Still waiting for engine mounts and master cylinder sensor.

            Will post pictures up later.

Can't wait to be able to drive the car and it not sounds like it's about to fall to bits.

Also on the look out for a set of Pro race 1.2s in 16's.

I'll sort a proper thread for the car tonight.

                  As requested

Got the rears fitted, its currently sat higher then the -40mm springs were sat but I think this is due to the fact that the original dampers were knackered and had dropped.

Hopefully once they've settled they'll drop a bit.
Got rid of the rear rattles just need to fit the fronts now and hopefully it will be banging/knocking free!

Weitec stuff is really nic. My mate has these on his Mk1 golf that was sat lower than any other one i had ever seen. He had ball joint extenders and all sorts. On the old coilies it was horrible, bouncy and knocked like mad. Once the Weitecs were fitted it drove absolutely lovely. It was really comfy too so well worth the purchase and fitting!

thanks for the photo, i think it takes a little time for the springs to settle down, mine were used, so the height changed instantly, with yours maybe it'll take a little time

Welcome, nice job on the B4 saloon so far.

Looking forward to the photos after the suspension kit has been fitted and settled. Also how it rides compared to before, and also how it compares to a standard 2.OL 16v B4.

Maybe ellipsoid headlights if the budget allows, but imho definitely change the indicators and foglights to clear.

To have no rattles and bangs will be very enjoyable.

                        Best wishes.

I quite like the yellow-ness but it's only paint and can be easily removed.
Last night I removed the front N/S damper insert and it literally ******** hydraulic fluid . . . . That'll be why there is all the banging.

Was just thinking that looked like the AMRC I've been there a couple of times as I work for one of the technical partners. Looks lovely mate, Ill keep my eyes peeled for it next time I'm up.

At least you're not thinking of pulling out the arches.

                                Kind regards.
