Lovely to see her clean mate, but strange to see her in someone else's possession now 😭 I get the 'empty nest' feeling each time I open the garage.
Hope the first week of ownership has been a good one.
Look forward to hearing and seeing the upgrades. I'm sure there's a Miltek available on here somwhere!

As said you've got yourself a great car there. I think I can say that very few people on the forum trust their cars to garages, even so called specialists.
There are very few professionals about who understand these cars now. But luckily without exception if you can think of a job or a problem someone will have been there and done that, and no doubt will be happy to help you out. Enjoy!

Cheers mate, its starting to feel more like mine now. The first few days it felt like i had stolen it from you! Any tips on keeping the plastic bumpers nice and black and also the sills? Seem to recall you mention tyre dressing?

Thanks poor-boy, error404 and everyone else so far. Really great forum.

I used Meguiars tyre shine on all the rubber and trim. Gives everything a glossy black finish but don't go crazy with it as it can look over the top.
Meguiars also do a trim shine but it takes a lot of it to get the same result as tyre shine.

Very nice. But I'm bias as it looks almost identical to mine except your wheels are mint. Mine need a refurb soon.
It must be a weird feeling seeing your old car after selling it.

Also I do all my own work too. I am learning a lot about these cars as I go. However I don't trust garages to work on my cars after bad experiences years ago. Plus I can vouch for maguires in general it's worked wonders on my car since I've owned it.
