Hello all,
Just a short introduction. My name is Evert and I life in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
After owning several Audi S4 and S6 models, I now own a A3 2.0 turbo sb quattro edition (for the misses) and a (boring) VW Passat (company car). For the weekends I have been searching for an Audi RS2. I have always wanted to own one and now decided the time is there to try and find one.
After an extensive search in the Netherlands (limited number of RS2's available), Belgium and Germany finally found a great lhd example in the UK.
This weekend agreed the purchase of that lhd RS2 from the UK. Really excited about it.
Been to the UK mid december for a viewing and technical check. Very nice car with extensive maintenance history. 2 owners from new, 1 German owner and the current owner (UK lawyer) already owns the car for over 12 years. Car has done 155k km. Requires a few bits and pieces:
- new windscreen
- new brake pressure accumelator
- new headlight
- strips at bottom of the doors to make it 'excellent condition'
In 10 days I am flying back to the UK to pick up the car and drive it to the Netherlands.
I have been browsing the forum a lot to find information about the RS2 and hope to learn a lot more from all the enthousiasts here.
You probably like pictures..... so here we go:
